Why Should You Choose Ironhide's Bison Meat?

Nutrition

Sustainability

Bison meat is often considered a healthier alternative to other types of red meat due to its lower fat content and higher protein levels. It is rich in nutrients like iron, zinc, and B vitamins, making it a great option for those looking to maintain a balanced diet. Additionally, bison is typically grass-fed, which means it contains omega-3 fatty acids and is free from antibiotics and hormones commonly found in meats. Choosing bison not only supports sustainable farming practices but also offers a flavorful and nutritious choice for meat lovers.

Bison farming is considered more sustainable due to the animal's natural grazing habits, which promote healthy grassland ecosystems. Bison have lighter footprint on the land compared to traditional cattle, as they help maintain soil health and reduce erosion. Their grazing patterns stimulate plant growth, enhancing biodiversity and carbon sequestration. Additionally, bison are typically raised without the extensive use antibiotics and hormones, making their meat a healthier option for consumers and contributing to more environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
